Post LaTeX export with cites and details fails
on: August 5, 2016, 08:51

Hi,

I am testing docear and so far most things are working. Only the crucial part, the export to LaTeX with cites, fails. This is an important feature for me, since writing in word is not an option.

The log file shows:

STDERR: ERROR: 'line 50: Unsupported XSL element 'result-document'.'
STDERR: FATAL ERROR: 'line 60: Unsupported XSL element 'result-document'.'Aug 05, 2016 9:48:55 AM org.freeplane.core.util.LogUtils warn
WARNING: Export ist fehlgeschlagen.
Aug 05, 2016 9:48:55 AM org.freeplane.core.util.LogUtils warn
WARNING:
javax.xml.transform.TransformerConfigurationException: line 60: Unsupported XSL element 'result-document'.

Any idea?

Many thanks
Uwe

The problem is due to XSL 2.0 needed by mm2latexinput_c-et-d.xsl but not supported by Docear!!
There was a git pull request to resolve this bug here:
https://github.com/Docear/Desktop/pull/488
but it was rejected. I don't know why!

Work around:
1) Simply edit your file mm2latexinput_c-et-d.xsl. Remove the "OPTION XSLT 2" section and uncomment the "OPTION XSLT 1" section. However this will give you a poor result.
See http://www.docear.org/support/user-manual/#Write_your_papers_assignments_books_theses_8230
XSL 1.0 transform will not number well the chapters...

2) Better solution:
Install SaxonHE9.8N that has a good XSL2.0 translator
Edit your xsl file: mm2latexinput_c-et-d.xsl by changing XSL version="1.0" to version="2.0"
and export you mind map with the command line:
SaxonHE9.8N/bin/Transform -ext:on -s:"my_paper.mm" -xsl:"my_mm2latexinput_c-et-d.xsl" output-base="my_paper_out"
