Post prevent Docear from modifying .bib file (read-only)
on: June 12, 2015, 22:04

Hey all,

Docear is using quite old Jabrev (2.7.1).
I am using 2.10 and 2.11beta2 is currently out.
It would be great if there would be an option to prevent Docear edit the .bib file.
as I am not intended to do so within Docear anyway.
Apparently formatting changes a lot between 2.10 and 2.7.1.
Also a number of bugs has been fixed in recent versions, so I would personally rather
use up-to-date standalone JabRef.
Docear would be primarily used to browse the library (read-only) and assign documents to mind maps,
read notes, etc. Anyone has similar concerns?

Thank you for your feedback. Please note that we - the Docear team - currently do not have the time to answer support questions. However, we encourage all Docear users to help each other.
