Post Latest version stopped working on Windows and Mac OSX

I prepared many charts for my exams from about a month in version 1.1.1 and then I updates to latest version. Now, Docear has completely stopped working on Mac. I installed the latest version of Docear on Windows 7 and it worked once or twice and then stopped completely.

Reverting to older versions of Mac doesn't work. All versions stopped on Mac.

On windows, the software just shows hovering small logo at start and remains there forever.

I'm stuck and all my information regarding the exams are now gone to waste.

Please release some updates on both fast.

Hi rdm,

I am sorry to hear that you lost your work during an upgrade.

While I feel your pain, I feel obligated to inform you that there seems to be no developer available to fix bugs in Docear (or further development).
However, I think development on Docear will resume in Fall and it would be helpful to learn, what cased the messup in your profile.

If you send me your Docear user directory [1], I can have a look try to recover anything for you:

hi, i suggest to clean/delete all your configuration files (double-check that you don\'t delete your mind-maps 😉 ).

then try installing the latest docear version again. if this doesn work, clean again all your settings and install the old docear version.
