Post Annotation links stopped working with Foxit Reader

Switching to PDF Exchange Viewer solves this problem! But maybe the developers are still interested. (if not, stop here)
I still got the error message though.

I started my first project and everything worked like a charm.

Windows 10

JAVA 8 Update 66

Foxit Reader

Then I got this error message at start.

SVG Error:

Unable to make sense of URL for connection Unable to make sense of URL for connection
at org.apache.batik.util.ParsedURLData.openStreamInternal(
at org.apache.batik.util.ParsedURLData.openStream(
at org.apache.batik.util.ParsedURL.openStream(
at org.apache.batik.dom.svg.SAXSVGDocumentFactory.createDocument(
at org.apache.batik.dom.svg.SAXSVGDocumentFactory.createSVGDocument(
at org.apache.batik.bridge.DocumentLoader.loadDocument(

Im not sure wether this is connected to my problem, but the annotation links didn't work properly anymore. I'm aware that you have to close Foxit before clicking any links.
When pressing the annotation link foxit opens the right document, but not at the designated place anymore. Instead you get you've been before closing the document the last time.

Thank you for your feedback. Please note that we - the Docear team - currently do not have the time to answer support questions. However, we encourage all Docear users to help each other.

Thank you for taking the time to report this.
We are keeping your bug report but I do not see anyone working on this in the near future.

I\'m glad you found a solution by working with our preferred PDF reader.
